The City Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of all City departments, and provides support services to the City Council. The City Council appoints the City Manager who is responsible for the implementation of policies established by the Council and the general administration of City operations.

The goals of the City Manager's Office are to direct and supervise the activities of the City, provide staff and administrative services for operating departments, maintain the financial affairs of the City, manage municipal resources for the provision of public services, presents, plans and reports to the City Council as necessary to meet City needs.
