City of Geneva Sewer Improvement WorkGeneva DPW will resume performing sewer improvements in multiple locations throughout the city. A map of locations is included above. This work is expected to begin December 1st.Twomey Pl, Park Ave, Prospect Ave, North Ave, Maple St, Pleasant St, Larchmont St, and all intersecting streets will be affected.Be prepared for temporary lane closures and alternating traffic patterns.Parking and through-traffic may be limited during the workdays. Parking restrictions will be issued by city DPW.Work will continue for approximately two weeks. Castle Street Reconstruction, Phase IVillager Construction will begin utility work on Castle Street between Brook Street and Main Street starting October 4, with typical working hours of (but not limited to) 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.East and Westbound through-traffic on Castle Street may be affected as required to perform work.Parking may be limited overnight and during construction hours.Access to businesses and residences will be maintained throughout the project. Work will continue for the foreseeable future, as the capital improvement project progresses.  2026 Trash & Recycling Tags Now Available! Pick up your tags at the Clerk’s Office—valid through December 31, 2026. Cost: $30.
Trash Punch Cards are also sold year-round.
A 52-punch card is currently $75, but beginning January 1, 2026, the price will be $90. Each punch covers up to two 30-gallon bags.
