City of Geneva DPW – Street Resurfacing WorkThe City of Geneva Department of Public Works has scheduled asphalt paving on Seneca Street, which will require the temporary closure of through traffic on Linden Street.Closure Start: Thursday, September 4 at 12:00 PMEstimated Completion: End of day Friday, Sept. 5.
Impacts:No parking or through traffic will be allowed on Linden Street after 12:00 PM.Sidewalks will remain open for pedestrian access, including to USPS drop-off boxes.USPS drop-off boxes on Linden Street will not be accessible by car during the closure.Alternative collection boxes are available throughout the city, including:WegmansTown & Country Plaza (outside of Gordmans)314 William Street

Public Notice: City of Geneva DPW Milling & Paving WorkThe City of Geneva Department of Public Works (DPW) will begin roadway milling and paving in multiple locations throughout the city, including: Seneca St, South Main St, Twomey Pl, Park Ave, Pulteney St, Prospect Ave, North Ave, Maple St, Pleasant St, Larchmont St, 5 & 20, the North & South Cloverleafs, the South Exchange St Parking Lot, and all intersecting streets. A map of locations and calendar schedule are included with this notice below: Milling & Paving Schedule Map of Paving Locations Key Information: - Start Date: September 2nd
- Duration: Approximately three weeks (subject to change due to weather or unforeseen conditions)
- Impact: Parking and through-traffic will be limited during workdays. Parking restrictions will be issued by the City DPW and may be enforced via towing.

Drumstock Music & Arts Festival – Street Closure NoticeE. Castle Street between Rt. 5 & 20 and Exchange Street will be closed beginning Saturday, September 6 at 7:00 AM through Sunday, September 7 at 1:00 AM. Please be advised that the left turning lane on Rt. 5 & 20 at the E. Castle Street intersection will be blocked off during the festival. Detours into downtown will be available via Elizabeth Blackwell and Lake Street. Drivers are asked to use caution when traveling in the area and to follow all posted No Parking and Road Closure signage. The Drumstock Music & Arts Festival is a family-friendly event in downtown Geneva, free and open to all. The festival will feature live music, food and craft vendors, and interactive arts workshops, offering a full day of entertainment and community celebration. We appreciate the cooperation and support of residents and businesses in helping to make this a safe, successful, and positive event for the community. Traffic & Parking Impacts:- Parking will be restricted on E. Castle Street, between Exchange St. & Rt. 5 & 20, beginning Friday, September 5 at 6:00 PM.
- E. Castle Street between Rt. 5 & 20 to Exchange Street will be closed to vehicle traffic beginning on Saturday, September 6 at 7:00 AM and will remain in effect until Sunday, September 7 at 1:00 AM.
- The official event boundary will extend 30 feet within the railroad tracks, with barricades in place to establish the barrier and maintain safety.
- The sidewalk on the SOUTH side of E. Castle Street (Lake Drum side) will be closed to pedestrian traffic.
- The sidewalk on the NORTH side of E. Castle Street will remain open and accessible for pedestrian use.
Event Highlights:- Live music from 11:00 AM through late evening

Internal Working Timeline:Friday 9/5 - 6:00 PM: No parking on lower E. Castle Street, between Exchange St. & Rt. 5 & 20.
Saturday 9/6 - 7:00 AM: Official road closure begins
- 8:00 AM: Castle St stage build
- 9:15 AM: Vendor arrivals
- 11:00 AM: Festival gates open
- 9:30 PM: Final act on Castle St. stage ends
- 10:00 PM: Stage teardown begins
- 10:30 PM: Vendors clear area, Castle St. venue closes
- 11:00 PM: Cleanup and barricade staging
Sunday 9/7 - 12:30 AM: Final site check and cleaning
- 1:00 AM: Road reopens, normal traffic resumes
