The Geneva Lakefront Concert Series continues!Join us this Wednesday, July 10th from 6-8pm for live music at the Lakefront by LoneGonzo & Solphi. An elastic, dynamic, powerful band, Solphi presents a memorable groove infused with funk, soul, R&B, reggae, and jazz. Band leader, Michael George Gonzalez, combines the talents of top local musicians to present a tasteful concert great for listening and dancing, that includes many original compositions! The concert series is FREE and open to all. Bring your own chair or blanket and enjoy the show! Food and drink will be available for purchase. Featured food trucks are Taste of Soul and Finger Lakes Hots! Sweets and goodies available from Simple Sweets Bakery.  CITY OF GENEVA WATER USERS: THE CITY OF GENEVA WATER MAINTENANCE DEPT. WILL BE CONDUCTING ITS ANNUAL WATER MAIN FLUSHING PROGRAM BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 7:30AM AND 3:00 PM MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY. FLUSHING IS CONDUCTED ANNUALLY TO REMOVE SEDIMENT FROM THE WATER MAINS AND TO CHECK THE OPERATING CONDITION OF FIRE HYDRANTS, SECTION BY SECTION, THROUGHOUT THE CITY. THE WORK INVOLVES LITTLE OR NO INTERRUPTION OF SERVICE, ALTHOUGH A SLIGHT DISCOLORATION OF THE WATER MAY OCCUR IN AREAS WHERE FLUSHING IS UNDERWAY (OTHER AREAS MAY BE AFFECTED AT TIMES). IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT NO LAUNDRY BE DONE IN THE SCHEDULED AREAS BETWEEN 7:30 AM AND 3:00 PM. QUESTIONS REGARDING PERSISTENT WATER QUALITY PROBLEMS, SHOULD THEY OCCUR, CAN BE DIRECTED TO THE WATER MAINTENANCE DEPT. AT 789-8070 OR THE CITY ENGINEERING OFFICE AT 789--3101.
